Thai Choice, a few doors down from Whole Foods on Wilcrest, is very friendly to vegetarians. They have vegetarian options and will also substitute tofu for meat dishes. The Paneeng is incredible.

Bai Thong is a new Thai restaurant in downtown Houston. Their food is delicious, and the coconut ice cream is amazing.

There is also an all-vegetarian Indian food buffet hidden in the Roadrunner hotel on Hwy 59. It's some of the best service and Indian food in town.

Onion Creek Cafe on White Oak in the Heights has several vegetarian options and a farmer's market in the parking lot Saturday mornings.

Barnaby's Cafe also has several vegetarian options. They have three locations but the best is on Fairview.

Chuy's is a Tex-Mex restaurant on Westheimer that offers vegan-friendly beans and vegan/vegetarian-friendly options.
