You should have a page on your site called “Privacy.” On this page you should state what your policy is with information that they submit to you.

You should answer the question they may ask such as:

1. Why you are collecting their email address and what you will do with it.

2. Whether you will provide their information other people or a third party.

3. Make clear to viewers of your site that the sites that you link to have nothing to do with you and that they set their own privacy policies.

4. If you run a forum or message board you should let your readers know that information they provide on the forum is public information that can be easily shared with other parties.

5. Tell you viewers that they can opt out at any time from your mailing list.

6. Give readers your contact information where they can contact with any questions in reference to their privacy.
