The Deities in this temple are Radha
and 1 metre (3 ft) tall Vamsi Gopala. This temple is about 400 years
old and the Deities were installed by Mahant Prahlada dasa of the
Nimbarka sampradaya.
Srila Prabhupada stayed in this temple when he first
came to Vrindavana, from 1956 to 1959. Srila Prabhupada lived in a
room on the roof of the temple. Some people are using the room where
he stayed now and it is not normally possible to see the room.
How To Get Here This temple is very
close to Keshi Ghata, right next to the Yamuna. If you just left the
Radha Gokulananda Temple, you make a right and you follow the road
around for about 100m. The doorway to this temple is on the left,
but it is not obvious, and you may have to ask someone where this
temple is located.
Temple Timings Darshan time is 5 am
to 11 am and 3 to 7.30 pm.
