Colon Cleaning Program
The first step towards achieving vibrant health is performing a complete colon cleanse. This Colon Cleansing Program should be done at least once a year. With the correct ingredients and a little effort, you can do this colon cleansing detox system yourself with great results. If you have never performed a cleansing like this before in your life, you will be amazed how it will affect your sense of well being.

The colon is the large intestine. Connected below the smaller intestine, it is the tube through which all solid waste leaves the body. It is said the average American has 5 pounds of undigested waste (usually of animal origin) in their colon. Anyone that has ever eaten meat, aged cheese or other dairy and not done a cleanse (even if you have been a vegetarian for years), will likely have impacted fecal matter on the walls of their colon.

Saturated fats, excess proteins, refined and processed foods, drugs, artificial additives and chemicals all combine to create a nasty substance called mucoid plaque. Because this gunk is of inorganic origin, it sticks to the sides of the colon. Although waste can still pass through, creating the illusion of a clear colon, the space can be actually as thin as a pencil.

Follow this cleansing program carefully, and you will be shocked at what comes out of your system. When you start passing 4 foot long pieces that look like black tire tread shaped like an intestine with a smell of a long dead animal, you'll be convinced it's all worth the effort!

In my experience, to get best results, you must follow a program that uses the bulking agent psyllium and liquid bentonite, plus a technique for purging the waste. The psyllium and bentonite suck this poison off the walls of the intestines and allow it to come loose and be excreted. This is why it comes out shaped like your colon. This putrid matter can also contain worms, larvae, egg sacs, and other nasty things. You'll wonder where it all came from. Even though it sounds distasteful, when you fill toilet after toilet full of black waste you will be very thankful it’s not inside you anymore.

On this cleanse you will also experience emotional clearing. Often we hold traumatic experiences in our poisons. As these poisons are released, so are these old emotions. Your Supplies

1. Psyllium Husk — "Sonne's" makes the superior grade as they use both the husk and the seed. Psyllium swells like a sponge in your intestines and sucks toxins out of the colon, and sweeps it out like a broom as it leaves the lower intestine. Psyllium is excellent in helping to remove old accumulated mucous feces and putrefactive toxins that may have become impacted in pockets of the colon (Do not buy a supermarket brand that contains sugar or artificial ingredients).

2. Bentonite Liquid — Bentonite is a powdered clay (it is also known as montmorillonite). It comes from ancient deposits of volcanic ash. It is one of the best intestinal detoxifying agents available. The clay’s minerals are negatively charged whereas toxins are positively charged, so the clay’s attraction works like a magnet, attracting and leaching toxins out of the colon.

3. Lemons — Organic ones are best as they don’t contain pesticide residue. The lemon is a loosening and cleansing agent that is 49% potassium, They strengthen the heart, stimulate and cleanse the kidneys and adrenal glands. It acts as a solvent to melt fat soluble toxins. Its magnesium acts as a blood alkalizer. An all around cure-all.

4. Maple syrup (grade B) — Used to sweeten the special lemonade. It also supplies many important minerals and vitamins during the fast. It contains sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, phosphorus, sulphur, chlorine and silicon. Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, and C, nicotinic and pantothenic acid. Grade B is best as it is a darker syrup and is richer in minerals being less refined. It is sometimes sold as "cooking" maple syrup and is often cheaper than the clearer "A" grade. I believe it has a superior flavor and fragrance.

5. Organic Cayenne Pepper (not chili pepper) — Breaks up mucus and increases circulation. Helps dissolve toxins. An excellent tonic for a range of ailments. It also adds many of the B and C vitamins.

6. Sea salt — This is used for the "oral enema". Do not use regular iodized table salt.

7. Kalenite Tablets — Made by "Yerba Prima." It contains herbs that facilitate the extraction of poison from the colon.

Elements of the program

The Lemonade
Fill an empty one quart juice bottle 4/5 with purified or distilled water and add:

1. The juice of 4 to 6 lemons
2. 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne
3. Four to Eight tbsp Maple syrup (adjust more or less to taste. It should taste good).
Put the lid on and shake. Drink as desired.

The Psyllium Bentonite Shake
Take the empty mason jar and fill it half way with purified or distilled water. You can also use fruit juice such as apple or cold weather fruits (berries, cherry etc.). Add one tablespoon of Bentonite liquid. Then add 1 tablespoon of Psyllium Husk and QUICKLY close the lid and shake for 3 seconds. QUICKLY take off lid and drink before it coagulates. You will be taking three Psyllium Bentonite Shakes a day, one in morning, one in the afternoon and one at night.

Internal Salt Water Purge
This is a great method of cleansing the colon. This method will cleanse the entire digestive tract while colonics and enemas only reach a part of it.

Directions: Prepare a full quart of luke-warm water (empty juice bottles work great) and add two level teaspoons of Celtic Sea Salt. Drink the entire quart of salt water first thing in the morning. This must be taken on an empty stomach.

The body quickly eliminates the salt out of the body, taking impurities and toxic filled psyllium with it. The salt causes purging of the system resulting in major bowel movements. The salt water has the same specific gravity as the blood, so the kidneys do not pick up the water and the blood cannot pick up the salt. If the salt wash does not work the first time, try adding more or less salt. Try drinking some warm water without the salt. This can help. For some people the movements start in a few hours while others will not have a release until the next day.

Skin Brushing
The Skin is the largest organ in the body, and is responsible for one-fourth of the Body's Detoxification. Skin Brushing helps clean your Lymph System, improves circulation on the Skin and keeps pores open encouraging your body's discharge of toxins. It also removes dead skin layers. Dry skin brushing is an important part of a colon cleanse. It aids in the elimination of toxins that come out during the cleanse. Skin brush before showering or bathing as the skin must not be wet. Brush all areas of the skin (except face and any sensitive areas) with long strokes towards the heart. You'll feel great afterwards.

The Coffee Enema
The use of coffee in enemas for detoxification is well known. It stimulates the release of fecal matter in the colon and draws toxins out of the liver. The effects of having a coffee enema are not the same as drinking coffee. The coffee enema is safe even for people who are sensitive to caffeine because the coffee remains in the colon, where it is not fully absorbed. The alkaloids in the caffeine stimulate the production of glutathione-S-transferase, which is an enzyme that facilitates liver detoxification. You’ll get a little bit of a buzz, but nothing like a double cappuccino. If you do feel nervous or jittery, reduce the amount of coffee by half.

Boil 2 quarts (8 cups) of water in a pot (not aluminum). Add 8 tablespoons or more of organic coffee and continue to boil for 5 minutes. Remove pot from the heat. Cool to luke-warm. Pour the coffee mixture through a fine mesh strainer. Clamp the end of the enema bag. Pour the filtered coffee mixture into the enema bag. Release the clamp until the mixture begins to flow out of the tip (this ensures the there is no blockage in the tube), then clamp the bag again immediately.

Hang the enema bag at a height of about 3 feet (using a hanger can help). Lie on the floor and gently insert the nozzle into your rectum. Use olive oil on the nozzle if needed. Release the clamp and let the coffee mixture flow into your colon. Clamp the tube as soon as there is a sensation of ”fullness” then massage your abdomen until this feeling disappears and release the clamp again to allow more in. Try changing positions while retaining the coffee. After a few minutes turn over onto your back, a few minutes later switch to your left side. These are good tricks to allow more of the fluid to be retained. The more of the coffee you can hold, and for a longer period of time, the better your release of old fecal matter will be.

When you have taken in as much as you are able, or if the enema bag is empty, close the clamp and remove the nozzle. Try to retain the enema for at least 10 minutes, then go to the toilet. If you are really keen, do a head stand for 5 minutes. If you are unable to do a head stand, get next to a wall with your back on the floor and legs pointing up resting on the wall.

If you cannot retain the enema at any point during this process and feel the urge, just go to the toilet and release.

The Program
Steve (Sproutman) Meyerowitz explains in his book Juice Fasting and Detoxification: "our bodies are natural healers. ...Without obstacles in its way, our bodies will automatically seek health through the process of eliminating poisons and balancing chemistry. There is a vital force within us that can heal and when that vitality is not exhausted by physical activity, drained by the task of digestion or enervated by stress, it is available to heal. Fasting, essentially promotes self-healing by casting off poisons. It is not so much a cure as it is an opportunity for rejuvenation"

Essentially you will be following a seven day fast. But during this program you will get sustenance from the lemonade and the greenlife tablets, so it will be much easier than a complete fast. If you want to get best results please avoid any other food during the program. This will allow the cleansing to be fully effective. If you must have something, fruit, fruit juice or vegetable juices are recommended. Solid food requires digestive processes to initiate and interferes with the cleansing and healing process.

Strenuous exercise is not recommended. Go for walks in the sunshine, do (learn) yoga. Doing yoga asanas (positions) after the salt drink is particularly effective. Rest or sleep whenever tired.

Try to go the seven days as listed below and reap great benefits.

Day One:
• Make three quarts of the lemonade in the morning. (drink as desired)
• Take three Vitamin C tablets at 7 am
• Take five green life tablets and three Beet juice tablets at 8 am
• Take a psyllium-bentonite shake (PB shake) at 9 am.
• Take a PB shake at 12 pm.
• Take five green life tablets and three Beet juice tablets.
• Take a PB shake at 4pm.
• Take three Vitamin C tablets at 5pm
• Take five green life tablets and three Beet juice tablets at 9pm.
• (Try to finish the three quarts of lemonade by the end of the day)

Day Two:
• Make three quarts of the lemonade in the morning. (drink as desired)

Breaking the Fast
There is an old Chinese proverb "Any fool can fast, but it takes a wise man to break it."

You need to ease back into regular eating gradually. If you break the fast with lasagna and chocolate fudge you will feel ill and may harm yourself. Your digestive system is very sensitive at this time, and you must continue to exercise some self control for at least three days after the fast. Although you might want to eat heavier foods, your system needs time to recover.

The longer the fast the more time is needed for recovery.
Juices are good during this period. They are easy for the body to digest. Eating fruits and vegetables and juices for the first three or four days after the fast is a good idea. This will allow the body to adjust.

Salads and other raw foods are a good next step. Slowly introduce cooked foods such as steamed vegetables and light soup after a few days for optimal results.
